Zahedshahr Islamic Azad University whichis locatedin Zahedshahris a district of Fasa, a city in Fars province. The university has commenced its activity since 2003. The number of fields are 21 in continuous and non-continuous Associate;continuous and non-continuous Bachelor's degree including Functional electronic Engineering,Electronic Distribution Networks Technology Engineering, Software computer Engineering,Electrical Distribution Networks Technology, Software Computer Engineering, Electrical Technology Engineering (Power), Accounting, Psychology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electro-technic, General Electronics, Construction, Software Computer, Veterinary, Associate Degree in public Building, in Telecommunications, Teacher Training forTeaching Mathematics, Mapping, Geodesy; Graduate in Electronic power systems & Software Computer Engineering.

Inaddition to these fields there are other majors including Law, Chemistry Engineering,Molecular Cell Biology, Food Industry, ScienceEngineering, Physical Education & Auto-mechanical Engineering.The university area is 19690 m2& teaching area is 6000 m2. There are several motor winding workshops including electro-technic,

micro-processor laboratories,air network workshop. Machine workshop, steering circuit, Electrical Machine workshop, welding workshop, physics Laboratory, two Internet workshops, 3 computer workshops, psychology laboratory which the students are able to use them inorder to perform labor & workshop activities. Also there is a laboratory which is available for the students. Students are members of 5 scientific associations in Accounting, Electricity, Computer, Psychology&Electronics.
